The most serious harm of computer games come from their contents, which affects teenagers ' mental health. Many games involve violence, such as fighting and killing. When they enjoy the pleasure of success, a violent turn of mind is developed and rooted in them, which may induce future violent behaviour in their life.
So when computers' entertaining function is highly spoken of ,such a problem does deserve our serious concern.
In addition, long time's working before computer also does harm to health. The radiation from the computer can arose many uncomfortable feelings., like a headache, poor eyesight.
At last, people who are fond of making friends on line should also be careful. Many convicts use Internet as a way to cheat. Although it has many disadvantages , Internet has become an indispensable part of people's life in recent years. He ran up the steps. Then in a little while Paul heard him coming back, but he was not coming fast. He was carrying his little crippled brother. He sat him down on the bottom step, then sort of squeezed up against him and pointed to the car.
“There she is, Buddy, just like I told you upstairs. His brother gave it to him for Christmas and it didn’t cost him a cent. And some day Im gonna give you one just like it . . . then you can see for yourself all the pretty things in the Christmas windows that Ive been trying to tell you about.” Paul got out and lifted the lad to the front seat of his car. The shining-eyed older brother climbed in beside him and the three of them began a memorable holiday ride. That Christmas Eve, Paul learned

to tell the truth, at first the reason why i liked him was just because i thought he was pretty.*(maybe it is not a suitable word, but i think no better word can describe him, he is really pretty!) from that time, i have focused on him.
then gradually, i found that he not only has good appearance, but also has a talent for badminton.
he is very tall, about 1.90 meters. he is the tallest one among all the players in the chinese badminton team.
in xx, he is chosen as the flag holder stands for china in the opening ceremony in the 15th asian games held in doha. it was the first time that the badminton players were chosen to take over the special task, before which time, it belonged to the basketball players. it was a great honor.
and it also proved that bao was an excellent athlete. we are all proud of him.
he began to play badminton when he was at primary school. in xx, he won his first good medal, which was significant to him, in guangzhou. because of that, he entered the chinese badminton team.
as he is as old as lin dan, who is the top one in the world, he is always put into a situation which is not good to him. he seldom beats lin dan, so he gained a name which is called千年老二. in fact, his techniques are ***prehensive, but he is lack of passion, the desire to win is not so strong.
so he always has misplays. due to this, he seldom wins the gold medal. i think this is related to his character.
he is easygoing and couth; he looks as if he will never get angry with anybody. so this affects him while he is playing badminton. in a period of time, critical voice has ***e towards him.
he is under great pressure. he was not in the best state. but recently he cheers up again.
several days ago, the chinese badminton championship xx was held in guangzhou. i went to see him on saturday. i was very excited, and i shouted loudly, hoping he could hear me.
there is no doubt that he won the game. before he went away, he waved hand to us, how excited i was at that time! the next day, he beat li zongwei again and he won the mans single gold medal.
all of us are very happy. after 7 years, which could be a long time for an athlete, he proved himself again in guangzhou, which is considered as his lucky place.

When i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character.
I learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.

Years pasted, my father is over 45 now. it is time for me to look after him and i am sure i will do and we will live an even better life. and i will say,i really love you dad,cause you are the hero in my mind.

On the weekend, I often go to the English corner. By talking with different people there, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English.
I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington Monument, because the president Washington is my idol. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university, I will be very happy.
I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. I/'ll introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and Anshan.

大家早上好，今天，我在国旗下讲话的题目是《环境保护，人人有责》。
曾经，有这样一个非常耐人寻味的故事：从前，有一个美丽的小村庄，村里住着几十户人家，村后的山坡上郁郁葱葱的树林好像一道巨大的屏障，不知从什么时候开始，家家都有了很锋利的斧头，谁家想盖房子，就拎起斧头到山上去，把树木一根根的砍下来。
一年年过去了，山上的树木不断减少，裸露的土地不断扩大……有一年雨水特别多，大雨一连下了五天五夜，到第六天黎明，雨才停下来，可是，小村庄却被咆哮的洪水不知卷到了何处……
无独有偶，再讲个国外的真实故事。20世纪以前的美国西部大草原，美丽富饶、绿意盎然，人人纷纷迁居于此。可是到了20世纪，由于人类对土地资源不断的开垦，对森林不断的砍伐，狂风失去了阻挡，肆无忌惮的风蚀土壤，生态环境严重破坏，连续不断的干旱，加上土地沙化，为美国西部大草原带来了一场人类历史上前所未有的黑色风暴，这场风暴整整刮了三天三夜。巨大的黑色暴风带所经处溪水断流、水井干涸、土地龟裂，牲畜饥渴而死，千万人流离失所，无家可归。大自然给破坏环境的人类一次残酷的惩罚。
其实，类似于这样的现象和悲剧又何止这一个呢!让我们大家来再听一组科学的调查和统计数据：现在，世界上每分钟有21万平方米森林消失;每分钟有11万平方米土地沙漠化;每分钟有4.8万吨泥沙流入大海;每分钟有85万吨污水排入江河湖海;每分钟有28人死于环境污染……我们唯一可以生息的村庄——地球，正在被我们人类制造出来的各种环境灾难所威胁：水污染、空气污染、植被破坏、物种濒危、江河断流、垃圾围城、土地荒漠化、臭氧空洞等等，数不胜数。
还有我们每天都要使用的纸张，大家知道吗?虽然纸张是可以再生的，但是在再生的过程中，会产生大量的有害废弃物，对环境造成二次污染，所以，我们平常使用纸张，一定要尽量双面使用。许多同学都迷恋于嚼口香糖，当你不经意地把它吐在地上时，你能想到小小的口香糖会对环境产生多大的危害吗?口香糖内的胶基在公共场所难以销毁，这种污染非大气、非水质，非噪音，却让人深恶痛绝……其实，还有很多大家意想不到的污染，就发生在我们的身边。
每年的4月22日，被确定为“世界地球日”，今年是第46个“世界地球日”。“世界地球日”主题活动就是为了唤起全球居民强烈的环境保护意识和热爱地球的责任感。
作为初中生，我们虽然力量微乎其微，但是，我们的绵薄之力汇聚起来，就是一股强大的保护环境的“正能量”，为了我们所生存的环境，我向全体同学提出倡议，让我们行动起来，从我做起，从现在做起，从身边做起，爱护绿色校园，珍惜一草一木，以保护环境为己任。我们要做到：
1、 自觉学习环保知识，主动增强环境保护意识。
2、爱护校园绿化，不随意践踏绿地草坪，不攀折树枝花朵。
3、不随地吐痰，不乱丢电池、塑料制品等废弃物。
4、随手关灯，随时关紧水龙头，节约资源。
5、用笔尽量使用可换芯的，减少水芯笔外壳的浪费和垃圾量。
6、支持和参与废纸、废塑料、废金属的回收利用，尽量减少生活垃圾。
保护环境，从我做起!我深信，只要人人都为保护环境，为环保献出一份力，我们的家园、我们的校园，一定会越来越美，我们赖以生存的地球和环境，一定会越来越好!

上学期,我们学习了一篇课文,名叫《只有一个地球》.通过学习,我们了解到我们眼中美丽壮观的地球同茫茫宇宙相比其实就像大海中的一叶扁舟一样渺小和脆弱.地球拥有的自然资源也很有限,而且许多资源是不可再生的.如果地球环境破坏了,资源枯竭了,我们人类将别无去处.

老师告诉我们:世界自然基金会为应对全球气候变化曾提出一项倡议,希望全球的个人、社区、企业和政府在每年3月最后一个星期六20:30-21:30熄灯一小时,来表明对应对气候变化行动的支持.因为过量二氧化碳排放导致的气候变化目前已经极大地威胁到全人类的生存,只有通过改变全球民众对于二氧化碳排放的态度,才能减轻这一威胁对地球造成的影响.
今年的3月的最后一个星期六即将到来,亲爱的老师们、同学们,你们会积极支持并参与这个地球一小时活动吗?
也许一小时没有灯光会令你的生活极不方便,也许你会因为那一小时不能读书写字而心存抱怨,也许你会觉得这只是一个解决不了根本问题的空洞形式.但,我会做;我们五、9班的同学们会做;全世界各个角落里的许多人会做.我们会在黑暗中静静思考,思考我们地球母亲的未来,思考我们人类的未来.这一个小时的黑暗,为的是唤醒更多人,一起去追求地球明天的光明!
